Edward White Hospital Keeps Patients Connected – WI FI Service Available

St. Petersburg, FL (December 12, 2007) -  Edward White Hospital is now offering Wi-Fi high speed internet service throughout the hospital. According to President and Chief Executive Officer, Roland Metivier, the service will allow patients, visitors, physicians and staff fast, reliable access to the internet and email, through an easy connection process.

“Our Information, Technology & Services team has worked hard to bring this service to our community,” said Metivier, “It will provide an excellent opportunity for patients to stay connected to their friends and family. Physicians and many other health care professionals who are in our facility each day can now easily access information they need.”

Instructions for accessing this service are posted throughout the hospital, and are on the hospital web-site. Guests simply need to start with the Wi-Fi enabled device turned off, then turn on the device, connect to the “Guest Access” SSID/Network Name, launch the web browser and the “Guest Access” welcome page should appear.
